On a very wet and wild March Friday we celebrated our first anniversary. Thanks to all those who came to celebrate with us and drink fizz and eat lovely cakes made by Rachel. Thanks too to Card Cuts who supplied us with the most lovely looking vintage cuppa cake holders.
It was lovely to see so many friends. Jo from Bazaar, Emma from The Walled Nursery and Photographer Scott Wishart all stopped by. Scott took the new pic which we have on our about page whilst he was here.
We managed to raise nearly £30 for Oxfam’s big get together for International Women’s Day. It may not sound like a huge amount but that money could buy books to help with women’s adult literacy training in Niger or buy two mobile phones for midwives in Ghana. So, thank-you for all those who spent and donated.
I cannot quite believe a year has gone by already but here’s to the next one and hopefully many more to come.
